This strategy includes important inter-agency recommendations that ensure the federal government leads by example in acquiring, managing, reusing and recycling its electronics; increasing domestic recycling efforts; reducing harm from U.S. exports of electronic waste; and improving the safe handling of used electronics to developing countries.

“We look forward to continuing to work closely with the EPA and its future leadership to minimize electronics waste, promote energy efficiency and protect our environment while encouraging and supporting technological innovation.”
