I do not agree that NewSQL vendors focus on giving scale-out features to transactional data. The NewSQL market is focusing on giving true ACID support combined with extreme performance, stepping away from the traditional relational structures in databases. A lot of developers appreciate the ease of accessing data using SQL and I think we will see more and more databases supporting standard SQL. As you said - NewSQL databases often maintain the...

CORE Security’s CORE Secured Partner Program Ramps up in 2013

CORE Security®, a leading provider of predictive security intelligence solutions, today announced the recent momentum behind the CORE Secured® partner program that the company launched last year. The program offers its partners a wider range of security offerings by adding CORE Insight® and CORE Impact® Pro to their offerings. The program expands CORE Security’s ability to expand into new geographies and markets.

CORE Security developed and launched the program in 2012, and in its initial year, the company signed a total of 23 partners and resellers globally, with seven in EMEA, four in Asia Pacific, nine in the U.S. and several in Latin/South America. The program includes extensive sales and technical training, co-marketing investments, jointly-developed marketing and go-to-market plans, and field support. Through the CORE Secured program, CORE and its partners conducted more than two dozen joint live events and webinars during the course of the year.

Plans call for the program to continue to build in 2013 with an emphasis on the North American market. The company continues to invest in the program by adding new people and resources to the effort for 2013.

“We are very happy with the results we’ve earned so far for the CORE Secured program. This is a critical element of CORE’s growth plans, as CORE Impact builds on its market leading position and CORE Insight's market adoption grows, having these committed partners will help us to increase that growth,” said Mark Hatton president, CEO, CORE Security. “Last year nearly 50% of our business was influenced or driven by a channel partner. This helps us to create leverage and drive growth for the company; we plan to continue to build on this success this year.”

“CORE Security software enables us to automate security testing for our customers to more easily validate and remediate vulnerabilities across the enterprise,” said Jon Robinson, CEO, Digital Scepter. “The CORE Secured program provides us the support we need to provide a superior service to our customers.”
