The TD Bank Group Lime Connect Scholarship and TD Securities Services Lime Connect Scholarship Each Award C$2,500 Plus Paid Summer 2013 Internships to Undergrad and Graduate Students -- Deadline to Apply Is Sunday, January 13, 2013

TORONTO -- (Marketwire) -- 01/09/13 -- Lime Connect and TD are pleased to offer two outstanding scholarship opportunities for students with disabilities studying at universities in Canada. Funds are provided in support of future studies, and details include:

TD Bank Group Lime Connect Canada Scholarship Program - C$2,500 plus a paid summer 2013 internship in finance, marketing or technology

  • Graduating university in December 2013 or Spring/Summer 2014
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in either
    • business with high academic standing (a focus in accounting is an asset); or
    • computer science or computer engineering
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • A person with a (visible or invisible) disability, defined as someone who has, or considers themselves to have, a long-term, or recurring, issue that impacts one or more major activities that others may consider to be a daily function); this definition also includes the perception among others that a disability exists. We know that 90% of disabilities on campus are invisible, and candidates with all disabilities are encouraged to apply

TD Securities Services Lime Connect Canada Scholarship & Internship Program - C$2,500 plus a paid summer 2013 internship as a TD Securities Services Associate

  • Graduating university in December 2013 or Spring/Summer 2014
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in business or a related program
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • A person with a (visible or invisible) disability, defined as someone who has, or considers themselves to have, a long-term or recurring issue that impacts one or more activities that others may consider to be a daily function. This definition also includes the perception among others that a disability exists. We know that 90% of disabilities on campus are invisible, and candidates with all disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Previous scholarship recipients have converted to full time careers with TD upon graduation. Scholarships are awarded based on merit, not on financial need; and while candidates must acknowledge that they are a person with a disability, disclosure of specific details are not required. For more information, and to apply, candidates may visit www.limeconnect.com. The deadline for submissions is midnight PST on Sunday, January 13, 2013 (3am January 14, EST).

Candidates with disabilities who are not a match for this particular scholarship are encouraged to join The Lime Network -- an exclusive resource for high potential students, and alumni, with disabilities and the broader, virtual program that prepares and connects candidates for career success regardless of their geographic location.
