Devon Health Services Inc., a national healthcare cost management company and owner of a directly-contracted Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) network, has announced Thomas N. Nicholson as its new executive vice president.

Mr. Nicholson has over 30 years of healthcare industry experience. He most recently helped lead a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and third-party administrative (TPA) company in the Midwest United States for 17 years. Mr. Nicholson will manage the sales and account management teams at Devon Health and spearhead expansion of the company’s out-of-network claims negotiation division, Consilium.

Mr. Nicholson has served on the advisory boards of the country’s two largest national PPO organizations and four of the top 10 largest stop-loss carriers. He has also served as a principal in one of the largest insurance agencies in the Midwest. Mr. Nicholson graduated from Black Hills State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
