Flood-Free 304 Industrial Park, Thailand Sets Expansion for International SMEs

BANGKOK, Jan. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Industrial-estate operator 304 Industrial Park sets the pace once more for SMEs with the expansion covering 9.28 square kilometers land in the flood-free area to serve the international increasing demand on industrial land in Prachinburi province, the east coast of Thailand.

The 304 Industrial Park has been selected as one of five pilot sites for Eco Industrial Complex, initiated by Ministry of Industry of Thailand and the Federation of Thai Industries. The eco-industrial site is designed to benefit investors from a wide range of potential cost savings to the efficiency energy requirement.

Poolsak Sutanthavibul, Executive Vice President of 304 Industrial Park said, "Situated in the country's economically growing province, the 304 Industrial Park brings opportunities for SMEs to utilize property investment and further productivity while enjoying maximum privileges on tax exemptions from Board of Investment Zone 3.  

"Our well-designed infrastructure and facilities are set for investors, such as own man-made reservoir with capacity of 36 million cubic meters for self-sufficiency water management.  The on-site power plant with a maximum power capacity of 436 megawatts to supply throughout the site has also been arranged.           

"With the rising demands on safe shelter from flooding shift to the eastern coast of Thailand since last year, 304 Industrial Park Prachinburi is an excellent proof for its perfect location. All area in 304 Industrial Park in Prachinburi is Safe from flooding, as it is situated in a highland 20 meters above sea level. 

"Furthermore, we offer one-stop-services for investors, especially for those new SMEs to prepare the groundwork carefully before starting business. Around 100 factories are operating in 304 Industrial Park, such as CANON, TOSHIBA SEMICONDUCTOR, MUSASHI AUTO PARTS, OJI PAPER, YASHIYO, HGST, A WESTERN DIGITAL COMPANY, SIAM AISIN (Thailand), THAI KOITO, DOUBLE A, NATIONAL POWER SUPPLY, NOVENTA (Thailand), BERLI JUCKER CELLOX, EMERSON ELECTRIC.

304 Industrial Park Prachinburi, a high quality industrial zone under the Eco Industrial Town concept located only 110 kilometers from Suvarnabhumi airport and 130 kilometers from Laem Chabang deep sea port.  The 304 Industrial Park's ground infrastructure can support buildings and huge machineries by 2.2 tons per square meter thus reducing factory infrastructure costs by 20%.  The land is risk free from flood and water shortage which is all worthwhile for sustainable investment.

There are around 100 factories at the site which is composed of  32% auto part, 23% metal and machinery, 17% chemical & paper & plastic, 16% electronic devices and 12% others.
