Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Wi2Wi is a Key Supplier to Industrial Internet Market Leaders

Wi2Wi, Inc., a leader in Wireless System-in-Package (SIP), module, and subsystems for embedded applications, has been providing wireless connectivity solutions to major segments and market leaders of the Industrial Internet. Wi2Wi is a supplier of industrial-class WiFi, WiFi-Bluetooth for connectivity and GPS for location identification to Fortune-500 companies in the Industrial (including Transportation), Medical, Government, & Infrastructure markets worldwide.

Wi2Wi’s industrial-class WiFi and WiFi-Bluetooth SiPs are state-of-the-Art, robust, resilient, operating over the industrial temperature of -40 to +85 degrees C, & come with complete software, empowering its customers with easy to integrate solutions.

Wi2Wi has been primarily focused on non-consumer markets since 2008, similar to the recently announced General Electric (GE) vision and focus on Industrial Internet, constituting multi-billion dollar market opportunities for both machine-to-machine (M2M) and portable applications. GE has estimated (see November 26, 2012 Wall Street Journal Online), that all of the major industries can save more than $270 billion over the next 15 years by improving their efficiency by just one percent, leveraging connecting intelligent machines to each other and ultimately to people as one core requirement, enabling the performance optimizations.

“Wireless connectivity is increasingly becoming a key element of Industrial Internet, as reflected in our Tier-1 and market leading customer requirements,” Wi2Wi’s CEO Dr. Reza Ahy noted. “We have established a solid Foundation for our growth based on new and existing designs with Industrial Internet: in the Industrial, Medical, Government, & Infrastructure markets worldwide.”

Wi2Wi’s customers in the Industrial market include Tier-1 companies (such as Honeywell) & leading solution-providers for construction & zoning, Infrared portable devices, Auto-diagnostic tools, commercial vehicles, & corporate fleets worldwide. Wi2Wi’s customers in the medical market include Tier-1 companies (such as Phillips), & leading solution-providers for portable medical devices, blood analyzers, and diagnostic devices. Wi2Wi’s customers in the Government market include Tier-1 companies (such as Motorola) & leading solution-providers for first-responder vehicles, biometric portable devices, defense electronics, law enforcement and surveillance. Wi2Wi’s customers in the infrastructure market include some of the largest Tier-1 companies, & leading solution-providers for electric-vehicle charge stations, natural-resources networks, smart thermostats, solar panel inverters, and security cameras.

Wi2Wi has over 140 new design activities for its third generation Industrial-Class products comprised of WiFi / WiFi-Bluetooth and GPS. Wi2Wi’s core Industrial-Class WiFi & WiFi-Bluetooth products are W2CBW0015 & W2CBW0016 New Ultra-Small SiPs, featuring 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth-3.0. Wi2Wi’s main Industrial-Class GPS products are W2SG0008i & W2SG0084i Ultra-Small modules. Wi2Wi also has over 150 existing customers worldwide in different phases of the design cycle, many already in production.

Wi2Wi’s vision of Wireless Connectivity for Non-Consumer Markets Worldwide, substantially overlaps with GE’s expectation of a new major wave of global change, with industrial revolution and internet constituting the first two waves, Wi2Wi is well-positioned with its focused market strategy, right products & customer wins, to ride the Rising 3rd Wave: the Industrial Internet Revolution.
