ServInt Introduces New Line of Semi-Dedicated, Fully Managed Servers: the Flex TwoCore and Flex ThreeCore

ServInt, a pioneering provider of managed cloud hosting for enterprises worldwide, today introduced its new line of fully managed servers under the Flex TwoCore and Flex ThreeCore brands. The new semi-dedicated servers host just two customers on each unit and offer dedicated hardware resources previously only available at much higher price points.

The Flex TwoCore and ThreeCore servers run a virtualization layer to apportion server resources between two – and only two – users. This semi-dedicated server environment enables customers to experience the benefits of dedicated server hardware, without the costs typically associated with transitioning up from a multi-tenant virtualized server.

“The TwoCore and ThreeCore servers bring the benefits of dedicated hardware – including guaranteed CPU cores – to a much broader range of customers,” said ServInt CTO Matt Loschert.

Loschert added, “Until now, the benefits of dedicated hardware were only available to hosting customers with the means to purchase their own server. Flex TwoCore and ThreeCore bring those benefits to a far wider community, for far less money.”

All Flex TwoCore and ThreeCore semi-dedicated servers exclusively use Dell enterprise-grade hardware. The Flex TwoCore server offers all the following features starting at $149 per month:

2 Cores of Intel X3440 CPU
2 x 2.53 GHz Hyper-Threaded Cores
2 GB Guaranteed RAM, upgradable to 4 GB
200 GB SATA II Storage, upgradable to 400 GB
Hardware RAID 1
4 TB monthly bandwidth transfer
Free control panel software
Free daily backups

The Flex ThreeCore server provides all the following features starting at $189 per month:

3 Cores of Intel E5649 CPU
3 x 2.56 GHz Hyper-Threaded Cores
6 GB Guaranteed RAM, upgradable to 8 GB
600 GB Nearline SAS Storage, upgradable to 800 GB
Hardware RAID 1
6 TB monthly bandwidth transfer
Free control panel software
Free daily backups
