TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 01/14/13 -- Barclays Bank PLC (the Company") has notified CNSX that the maturity date of its Extendible Step-Up Note Series I-39 (the "Note") will not be extended.

The Notes will mature on the Initial Maturity Date of January 18, 2013.

All trades January 16 through January 18, 2013 will be for settlement on January 18, 2013. The Notes will be delisted at the market close on January 18.
