Anite Globally Deploys Aryaka's WAN Optimization as-a-Service
Leading Software Solutions Provider Opts for Aryaka Citing Quicker Deployment, Scalability and Easy to Manage Services Model

MILPITAS, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/17/13 -- Aryaka® (www.aryaka.com), the leading provider of WAN Optimization as-a-Service™, Network as-a-Service™ and Application Delivery as-a-Service™, today announced that Anite plc, the leading provider of software solutions to the international wireless and leisure travel industries, has deployed Aryaka's WAN Optimization as-a-Service to improve employee collaboration and productivity via an intelligent network in the Cloud.

Anite hosts all of its business applications including email, files services and Microsoft CRM at its corporate data center in the United Kingdom. Because 80% of its revenues come from overseas, it became increasingly critical to improve collaboration across its global offices, especially in rapidly expanding markets in Asia and North America. The company also had strategic initiatives in place to further increase the use of Microsoft CRM and roll-out a new Intranet to improve collaboration and productivity. Using the public Internet was not good enough because of high latency, packet loss, inconsistent application performance and painfully slow large file transfers.

To evolve its wide area network (WAN) for more sophisticated business applications, Anite reviewed traditional WAN optimization appliances and instead, selected Aryaka because it was easier to deploy and Aryaka's intelligent, optimized network dramatically and immediately improved WAN performance for teams separated by oceans.

"The ideal solution for us had to accelerate application performance, be reliable, scalable and minimize IT resource utilization while being flexible enough to meet the changing business needs and demands of our organization," said Mark Jones, IT Manager for Anite. "Aryaka's resilient network met all of these criteria bar none. The MyAryaka web-based portal gives us the fine-grained network and application visibility and control needed to ensure we are maximizing WAN and application performance."

Aryaka delivers these benefits to Anite:

  • 50% - 76% CIFS data reduction
  • 92% peak compression rate
  • Reduced and stable core latency between locations
