In the article you mentioned the low power benefit, and mentioned the HP computer, as low cost solution, but I think that our product the Cubox that Costs 120$ and needs only 3 Watt of power could be another excellent solution.

IR’s 300V Power MOSFETs Offer Benchmark Rds(on) to Improve System Efficiency in Industrial Applications

International Rectifier, IR® (NYSE:IRF), a world leader in power management technology, today announced the introduction of a family of 300V devices featuring IR’s latest power MOSFET silicon that deliver benchmark on-state resistance (Rds(on)) for a wide range of high efficiency industrial applications such as 110-120 VAC line conditioners and 110-120 VAC power supplies, and DC to AC inverters including solar inverters and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).

The new portfolio of power MOSFETs offers ultra-low Rds(on) to improve system efficiency and may allow designers to reduce part count where multiple MOSFETs are used in parallel.

“Featuring benchmark Rds(on) to deliver higher efficiency, power density and reliability, IR’s portfolio of 300V MOSFETs are well suited to industrial applications requiring greater system efficiency,” said Brian LaValle, Marketing Manager for IR’s Power Management Devices Business Unit.

The new devices are qualified to industrial grade and moisture sensitivity level 1 (MSL1), are offered lead free and are RoHS compliant.

More information is available on the International Rectifier website at http://www.irf.com/whats-new/nr130117.html.

Availability and Pricing

Pricing for the IRFP4137PBF starts at $1.64 each in 10,000-unit quantities. Production orders are available immediately. Prices are subject to change.
