Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

FORTUNE Names National Instruments Among the Nation's 100 Best Companies For the 14th Consecutive Year
News Highlights

AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- For the fourteenth consecutive year, FORTUNE Magazine named National Instruments (Nasdaq: NATI) to the publication's annual list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For. NI ranks #35 on this year's list. This honor is a testament to NI's global commitment of creating an exceptional workplace.

NI consistently ranks among the world's top workplaces. In November 2012, the Great Place to Work® Institute listed NI among The World's 25 Best Multinational Workplaces. NI also received country-specific recognition from the Great Place to Work® Institute for the following six countries:  France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico and the U.K.

As NI continues to scale globally, the corporate culture has remained intact. NI's core values and work environment not only contribute to continued success but also are essential components to the company's 100-year plan, a road map designed to ensure NI's longevity as a leader in technological innovation.

Methodology: How FORTUNE Chose the 100 Best Companies to Work For
FORTUNE partners with the Great Place to Work® Institute, a global research and consulting firm that operates in 45 countries, and conducts the most extensive employee survey in corporate America. 259 firms participated in this year's survey. More than 277,000 employees from those companies responded to a survey created by the Great Place to Work® Institute. Two-thirds of a company's score is based on the result from the institute's Trust Index survey, which is sent to a random sample of employees from each company. The survey asks questions about attitudes towards management's credibility, job satisfaction, and camaraderie. The other third is based on responses to a Culture Audit, which includes questions about compensation programs along with open-ended questions about hiring practices, methods of internal communication, training, recognition programs, and diversity efforts.
