“SDN is rapidly gaining momentum with enterprises, and as the demand for our solutions continues to grow, we need strong leadership to help drive expansion,” said Dante Malagrinò, Embrane’s co-founder and CEO. “Jon and Susheel bring a wealth of enterprise knowledge and sales and go-to-market expertise that will help fuel that growth, as well as build out our technology and go-to-market channel programs to leverage economies of scale.”

As senior vice president, worldwide field operations, Jon Beck oversees all aspects of worldwide sales and field operations strategy and execution at Embrane. An 18-year veteran of the Internet infrastructure industry, Beck has managed zero to multi-million dollar growth, built and managed sales teams and supported product launches and field operations in all regions across the globe.

Beck joins Embrane from Dimension Data, where he managed global sales and field operations for the company’s cloud business unit, which included the former OpSource and Blue Fire Australian lines of business. Prior to its acquisition by Dimension Data in 2011, Beck managed global field operations for OpSource and built the company’s industry-leading cloud channel program. In 2011 and 2012 he was recognized by CRN Magazine as one the leading channel executives or “Channel Chiefs.”

Susheel Chitre joins Embrane as vice president of business development and leads the company’s partnership initiatives. Susheel leverages his more than 20 years of business development and sales experience in the data center and networking industry to build Embrane’s ecosystem of technology and strategic partners, as well as to define Embrane’s channel go to market initiatives.

Prior to joining Embrane, Chitre was the director of cloud go-to-market at Cisco, creating and launching the company’s highly successful Cloud Partner Program. While leading the program, he recruited more than 200 partners worldwide to deliver private and public cloud offerings leveraging Cisco products. He was also responsible for Cisco’s OEM business development efforts, which included more than 40 partners. Chitre has also held channel and go-to-market leadership positions at Andiamo Systems, Cray Research, Silicon Graphics and Brocade. He was recently named by CRN magazine as one of the 100 channel execs to know.
