CodeBaby Names Longtime Industry Veteran Russ Uhlmann Jr. as Executive Vice President of Business Development
Strategic Development Expert Brings Wealth of Experience in Healthcare Industry and Over 30 Years of Business Leadership to Organization

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 01/24/13 -- CodeBaby, a leading provider of Online Customer Experience solutions, today announced the appointment of Russ Uhlmann Jr. to the position of Executive Vice President of Business Development.

In his role with CodeBaby, Mr. Uhlmann will lead all business development initiatives for the organization, working to open up new opportunities in industries that would benefit from offering superior online customer experiences. Mr. Uhlmann will initially focus on growing the company's presence in the healthcare, eLearning, and help desk space(s). He will then pull from his vast experience penetrating new industries to quickly expand CodeBaby's sales team and accelerate the company's market.

"Russ brings an unmatched record of success in growing sales channels, specifically in healthcare, "said CodeBaby CEO Dennis McGuire. "We are very pleased to have him lead our business development team and look forward to utilizing his experience and demonstrated know-how as we continue to bring CodeBaby's technology into new markets."

Prior to joining CodeBaby, Russ spent five years with Xerox Services (formerly ACS), a multi-billion dollar provider of BPO and technology solutions to Global 1000 companies. During his tenure with Xerox/ACS, Russ was focused on managing and growing the company's healthcare footprint in several increasingly responsible roles -- VP Business Development for Healthcare Payers and Pharma, VP Strategic Accounts and VP/Client Managing Director. Most recently Russ led the team responsible for the relationship with Xerox's largest and most strategic healthcare accounts.

Before joining Xerox/ACS, Mr. Uhlmann had a successful career in a number of client-facing roles including Sales, Business Development, Sales Management and M&A. Russ was part of the early-stage management team for Protocol Communications, a vertically integrated BPO and Marketing Services provider. During his tenure, the company grew from a startup to exceed $180 million in annual revenues through a combination of organic sales and acquisitions. At Protocol, Mr. Uhlmann held the position of Senior Vice President of Business Development, responsible for National Account Sales and M&A activity.

Previously, Mr. Uhlmann worked as VP of Sales, Southern Region, for Indigo America where he led a team to exceed annual revenues of $250 million in less than four years. He also spent 13 years at Gerber Scientific where his greatest achievement was starting a new business segment which he grew from start-up to $30M + in three years.

"CodeBaby possesses products that can help companies in an endless number of industries meet the challenge of creating robust customer self-service programs," said Russ Uhlmann Jr. "I'm very pleased to be part of the team and even more excited by the opportunity to grow the CodeBaby brand."

Russ Uhlmann Jr. holds a degree in finance from Auburn University.
