ARGUS Software Hosts Fourth Annual University Challenge
Top Universities to Gain Real-World Experience Using the Most Advanced Real Estate Analysis Tools

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 01/30/13 -- Altus Group Limited ("Altus") (TSX:AIF) and ARGUS Software ("ARGUS") are pleased to announce the fourth annual ARGUS Software University Challenge. This unique challenge provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable experience by solving real-world investment analysis scenarios. As the next generation of real estate professionals prepare to enter the marketplace, ARGUS Software is making ARGUS Enterprise the system of choice for universities. This year the challenge will incorporate ARGUS Enterprise, the next step in the evolution of CRE analysis and asset management. Introduction of this software reflects our commitment to universities to help prepare their students for a successful career in today's commercial real estate industry.

"ARGUS is pleased to be an integral part of the real estate industry education process with our powerful software platform being taught in over 130 universities worldwide," said Lynn Clarke, Director of Education and Training, ARGUS. "Through the University Challenge, we aim to support future industry professionals; enhancing their practical knowledge and teamwork skills as we continue to develop and invest in our commitment to education."

Each university can enter one team of three to five currently registered students to participate in the challenge. Teams will simulate a real-life investment analysis of a real estate property using ARGUS DCF to model different scenarios based on the assumptions provided.

Teams will compete for a series of cash prizes. A panel of judges, including leaders from the academic community, industry professionals and ARGUS team members, will review the models submitted by the student teams and select the winners. Winners will be announced April 2013.
