Similar is the case with managed multi Cloud hosting. You can very well understand how a big burden it would be to manage multi cloud servers for organization; this is why a service known as managed multi Cloud is provided to these users. This service ensures them the seam less running of their system administrative operations while organizations focus more on t...

AMAX Launches Optimized Platform Aimed at CDNs Looking for Faster Content Delivery
Accelerated Architecture Delivers the Ultimate in CDN Performance

FREMONT, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/30/13 -- AMAX, a leading innovator of Enterprise & High Performance Computing solutions, today announced the immediate availability of its newest server solution designed specifically for Content Delivery Network (CDN) providers. The new ServMax™ PipeLine, has been specially tuned and optimized to deliver the ultimate in internal disk I/O and cold traffic fetch I/O the CDN industry has yet seen. Due to a hand-picked set of specialized components, including the latest generation Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 series processors, high-speed SSD configuration, and specially tuned 10GbE network pipe, AMAX engineers have designed and engineered this CDN-optimized server solution to deliver the industry's highest disk and network throughput while achieving low CPU-utilization, the highest-performance-per-watt, and platinum efficiency power usage.

Highlights of the Accelerated ServMax™ PipeLine CDN Architecture Include:

High Internal Disk I/O.
ServMax™ PipeLine features a single SAS HDD working in conjunction with multiple low-power, high-speed SSDs (each of which deliver 540MB/s & 450MB/s sequential read/write performance and 80K / 36K random read/write IOPS respectively) in a no-compromise striped RAID 0 configuration to drive extreme amounts of traffic through the storage sub-system, resulting in incredible I/O performance on a range of data-intensive tasks.

Near Line-Rate 10GbE Throughput.
ServMax™ PipeLine features a dual-port 10GbE SFP+ adapter which has been specially tuned to deliver near line-rate 10GbE throughput performance by accelerating UDP and TCP communication in HFT environments. The solution delivers transparent network acceleration to deliver superior low latency and high bandwidth performance, along with lossless packet capture, enabling faster transactional performance in HFT environments and the highest throughput efficiency possible.

Low Power. High TCO.
The Ultimate in CDN performance also means the highest-level of power efficiency. ServMax™ PipeLine is optimized to deliver this level of efficiency and offers the lowest TCO compared to competing solutions. With a sophisticated design aimed at addressing and eliminating any potential bottlenecks, ServMax™ PipeLine features CPUs that dynamically optimize energy-efficiency to keep performance high and costs down, lightning-fast solid state disks that go to sleep when idle, a wide high-throughput 10GbE pipe, platinum-level power supply efficiency and optimized server subsystem settings.

"Extracting the full potential of individualized components to create an optimized solution is no simple task," said James Huang, Enterprise Solutions Manager at AMAX. "It requires careful planning and thought with hours upon hours of testing and tuning. Our engineers have managed to develop a solution specifically tailored to the needs of Content Delivery Network providers, delivering incredible performance on all fronts to help them maximize their ROI."

The AMAX ServMax™ PipeLine has been optimized for Content Delivery, Application Acceleration, Software & File Distribution, Video Streaming and more. For more information on AMAX products and services, visit AMAX at: http://www.amax.com.
