EMG Expands Service Portfolio with Acquisition of NVT Technologies

EMG, a national leader in real estate decision intelligence, announced today its acquisition of NVT Technologies, a nationwide facilities operations and management company headquartered in Northern Virginia. SC&H Capital of Sparks, MD acted as financial advisor to EMG on the acquisition.

With the acquisition, EMG now provides an expanded portfolio of services, combining its technical and operational assessment expertise with facilities operations and management services for real estate owners and operators across the country.

EMG delivers accurate and timely decision intelligence based on its thorough research and information gathering methodology to give real estate owners, buyers and lenders highly reliable decision-making insight. The company also provides consulting services for real estate portfolios of all sizes. NVT Technologies, Inc. is a facilities operations and management services company that deploys state-of-the art technologies and management systems to provide on-site facility solutions to numerous government and industry properties in the U.S.

NVT Technologies will leverage EMG’s national operations platform to grow its engineering services business, while EMG will expand its service offering and create cross-business opportunities with clients of the two companies.

“The addition of NVT Technologies to the EMG family creates the opportunity to expand services to existing NVT and EMG clients,” said Claude Limoges, CEO of EMG. “Both NVT and EMG have strong and loyal client bases. Combining our capabilities in real estate operational assessment and decision intelligence with facilities operations creates tremendous value for clients in today’s challenging environment.”

Over 25 years, EMG has developed a scalable platform that allows the company to serve its clients and technical field teams with unwaveringly reliable operational processes and customer service. EMG’s platform will enable NVT Technologies to grow and scale into new and existing markets.

“Working with EMG offers a distinct advantage for NVT and our clients,” said Dr. Thanh Nguyen, founder of NVT Technologies. “We were seeking optimum opportunities to further our service offerings and the opportunity with EMG was the perfect solution. We are excited about the new benefits for our clients now that we are part of EMG.”

NVT will operate as a stand-alone company, a subsidiary to EMG. Strategic acquisitions such as this are an integral part of EMG’s plan to expand its client base and the range of services offered.

“The addition of NVT’s capabilities provides tangible benefits that will grow EMG’s client base and leverage EMG’s operational expertise across the NVT platform to improve client services across the country,” said Nestor Benavides, president of EMG and NVT. “The complementary missions of EMG and NVT were critical to the transaction. EMG and NVT have dedicated facility professionals around the country who are committed to providing unwavering support to our clients in a timely, accurate and comprehensive manner.”
