Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Xaxis Launches in Hong Kong; Brings Comprehensive Audience Buying Solution to Regional Advertisers

Xaxis, the world's largest audience buying company, announced today the launch of operations in Hong Kong. The company will work directly with GroupM Hong Kong in enabling regional marketers to utilize Xaxis audience buying solutions in their digital media campaigns. Andy Chung has been tapped to lead the new office as Director, Hong Kong.

Beginning today, marketers in the Hong Kong region will be able to implement coordinated audience buying campaigns on multiple digital media channels via Xaxis' proprietary data management platform (DMP). In addition to running campaigns across display, online video, social and mobile channels from a single location, clients will be able to track and measure their results with an unparalleled degree of transparency and sophistication.

“Hong Kong is a quickly developing market in terms of publisher maturity and consumer behavior, making it a natural fit for Xaxis products as we continue our expansion in the Asia-Pacific region," said Michel de Rijk, managing director of Xaxis Asia Pacific. "With Andy's excellent record of forging strong relationships with the region’s largest publishers, he is the perfect choice to launch and grow our Hong Kong operations."

CEO of GroupM Hong Kong, Melanie Lo commented, “Xaxis truly represents the cutting edge of online audience targeting and our clients stand to make great competitive gains through the opportunities these products present them.”

“The market opportunity for Xaxis to provide sophisticated audience targeting and buying services to advertisers in the Hong Kong region is enormous,” said, Chung. “I look forward to working with the GroupM family to build Xaxis’ presence in 2013 and beyond.”

Prior to joining Xaxis, Chung served as Business Director, Hong Kong for Tribal Fusion, the world’s 2nd largest digital advertising network. In this role Chung successfully built regional coverage for Tribal Fusion by establishing partnerships with area publishers in the Greater China region. In addition to driving the Tribal Fusion business, he was also responsible for managing the team that provided suitable targeting options, data, insights and optimization methods for both direct clients and agencies including GroupM.

Xaxis provides over 1,000 advertisers with audience buying solutions at scale, delivering over 300 billion impressions globally per year. The proprietary Xaxis DMP houses the largest collection of unique anonymous audience portraits. As the only universal and neutral data management platform in the industry, the Xaxis DMP allows advertisers to measure attribution, offline ROI, audience insights and brand impact based on the entire digital plan, not just the Xaxis portion of the plan. By quarter’s end, Xaxis will have offices in over 25 markets around the world.
