Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. Booz Allen Announces Recent United States Department of Transportation Wins

Booz Allen Hamilton today announced it was awarded three, five-year contracts to provide continued technical and program support to the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (USDOT) Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and its Office of Operations. These contracts are cost plus fixed-fee with a combined maximum value of $102 million.

For more than 15 years, Booz Allen has supported the FHWA in its efforts to effectively address highway congestion while enhancing safety and preserving the environment. With these contracts, Booz Allen will help the FHWA advance its mission to reshape traditional transportation organizations into 21st century operations agencies using 21st century technologies.

“Booz Allen is well prepared to continue its partnership with FHWA and other USDOT agencies,” said Bill Bastedo, Senior Vice President, Booz Allen. “With a superior record of excellence in technical delivery and management, Booz Allen’s broad set of mission-focused capabilities will enable the FHWA to efficiently achieve its vision of a safer, less congested and more environmentally-friendly highway system.”

Booz Allen will provide support to the Office of Operations through policy, programs, and projects that advance operation; communications activities that raise awareness; the development and use of technical tools including models and computer-aided instructional (CAI) projects; technology transfer and technical assistance programs; and program assessment.

The Office of Operations consists of three offices, including the Office of Transportation Operations (HOTO), the Office of Transportation Management (HOTM) and the Office of Freight Management and Operations (HOFM). Through this contract Booz Allen will support 17 program areas from across HOTO and HOTM:
