SYNNEX Corporation Signs US Distribution Agreement with Avaya

SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), a leading distributor of IT products and services, has signed a US distribution agreement with Avaya to provide significant opportunities for its data-centric resellers to capture unified communications (UC) opportunities through its CONVERGESolv Secure Networking group. Leveraging Avaya’s strength as a global provider of next-generation business collaboration and communications solutions, along with SYNNEX’ existing line of complementary vendor solutions, the agreement helps drive a comprehensive approach to collaborative communications, bringing the power of premise networking, UC, cloud and mobility into one best-of-breed delivery to the channel.

This new relationship allows SYNNEX reseller partners to capture and maximize incremental growth in the Avaya solution segments offered through CONVERGESolv Secure Networking: Voice (premise and hosted), Data, and Video Conferencing. These solutions capitalize on several significant emerging technology trends for improving collaboration in businesses, including: UC, Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), Cloud/Virtualization, and Mobility. Overall results of UC deployments can deliver solid ROI while improving business functionality and competitiveness.

“We are excited to collaborate with Avaya to open up new opportunities for the channel. Their position as the core of SYNNEX’ Unified Communications strategy coupled with our strong channel management enables our shared customers to deliver fully-integrated UC solutions,” said Peter Larocque, President, US Distribution for SYNNEX Corporation.

“Our new partnership with SYNNEX opens the door for Avaya to reach and penetrate data-centric reseller partners,” said Karl Soderlund, Vice President of Americas Channels, Avaya. “Avaya chose SYNNEX because of their established channel ecosystem and consistent record of channel enablement and support. This new partnership will enable existing SYNNEX partners to expand the solution sale with complementary technologies, while continuing to drive Avaya’s reach in the market.”
