A year after her GRAMMY's debut, "Gun Girl" Sasha Gradiva is rushed to the hospital for exhaustion and dehydration on the day of the awards show

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- As this year's 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards get underway, many are still talking about the stars who made fashion statements at last year's awards: Fergie, Nicki Minaj, and Jessie J to name a few, but none made a bigger splash than newcomer Sasha Gradiva. Just a year ago Gradiva took the GRAMMY's by storm with her "terminator" meets Barbie getup, but on the heels of her #LOVERSWANTEDTOUR the singer was rushed to Saint Francis hospital in Memphis, TN yesterday to be treated for exhaustion and dehydration.

Gradiva is making waves with her single, 'Come With Us,' produced by Tricky Stewart who has previously worked with artists like Rihanna and Beyonce. Her nationwide tour culminates in a few weeks. Despite a grueling tour schedule Dr. Hung of Saint Francis hospital has confirmed that Sasha will be able to finish the tour.

"I guess rehearsals, traveling and non-stop shows were hard on my body, but I fully intend on continuing my #LOVERSWANTEDTOUR. I release my single 'Come With Us' so soon and I want to make sure my fans get to see it live," said Sasha today.

Although Gradiva was first recognized for being a fashion rebel, her avant-garde style and high energy music have made her a sensation. She will continue to tour this spring promoting the anti-violence campaign she began at last year's GRAMMY's.

About Sasha Gradiva:
Sasha Gradiva is a recording artist and songwriter with a unique musical style that blends pop dance with strong electro flavor.

Sasha is an accomplished multi-talented performing artist who has received numerous music awards and nominations. Not only has she graced the pages of notable magazines including the Russian publications of Cosmopolitan, Maxim and Vogue, she continues to shock the entertainment industry with her quirky ensembles, mysterious charm and avant-garde look.

By way of her music, exhibited on a myriad of television outlets like MTV Russia she has influenced a generation of young people who look up to her as a fashion icon, performer and artist.

Sasha currently resides in Los Angeles, California where she is working on her second U.S single and debut U.S album.
