I do not agree that NewSQL vendors focus on giving scale-out features to transactional data. The NewSQL market is focusing on giving true ACID support combined with extreme performance, stepping away from the traditional relational structures in databases. A lot of developers appreciate the ease of accessing data using SQL and I think we will see more and more databases supporting standard SQL. As you said - NewSQL databases often maintain the...

Sage One Now Accepting Online Payments Through Sage Payment Solutions Integration

ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/12/13 -- Sage North America announced today that Sage One, the versatile and simple cloud-based accounting application used by a growing number of small businesses and entrepreneurs, now integrates with both Sage Payment Solutions and PayPal for easy payment processing. Sage One U.S. is a web-based, all-in-one application combining project management, invoicing, collaboration, and simple accounting functionality to address the unique business tracking and management needs of entrepreneurs and small businesses in the United States.

Sage One now provides small businesses and entrepreneurs with another way to simplify their business with the integration of Sage Payment Solutions. The integration allows customers to pay their invoices online with a credit card, debit card, or PayPal account. The ability to accept payments online will significantly decrease the amount of time it takes for business owners to receive payments.

"In this economy everyone is doing more with less, and this is especially true for entrepreneurs," said Mike Savory, product manager for Sage One. "With the integration of Sage Payment Solutions, busy entrepreneurs can get paid faster and spend more time on growing their businesses, rather than chasing down payment from their customers, reconciling invoices, and wasting time going to the bank."

Sage One helps entrepreneurs alleviate common challenges such as redundant data entry and errors, disorganized record-keeping, and difficulty in sharing information by offering simple, yet essential, tools in a single, web-based application. Accessible from anywhere, Sage One allows users to easily share and manage their day-to-day operations without letting time-sensitive items fall through the cracks. The integration to Sage Payment Solutions and PayPal launched on January 31, 2013, and is available through the application.

For $29 per month, users gain access to everything Sage One has to offer, including: two administrative users, unlimited collaborative users (who can share projects, files, and so on), five gigabytes of storage, and support through phone or online.
