SanDisk Snags Mobile Memory Experts Msystems
Deal Expected to Close in the Fourth Quarter of 2006

In an acquisition expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2006, subject to Israeli court approval, regulatory approval and Msystems shareholder approval, Reuters is reporting that California-based SanDisk Corp. is going to be buying Israeli-based Msystems in an all-stock deal.
An Wall Street Journal online report valued the transaction at around $1.55 BN at current share prices.
In turn, msystems has been transforming raw flash into smart storage solutions since 1989. From embedded flash drives for millions of mobile handsets to the creation of USB smart drives designed for leading global brands, msystems continually pioneers personal storage paradigms.
