With over 8,000 dental products in the product directory, Dentalcompare focused on the major categories first. Large equipment, small equipment, materials and software categories have been overhauled and are now:

• Comprehensive & Unbiased - All equipment, products and materials are listed regardless of the manufacturer advertising with Dentalcompare.
• Include Complete Specifications - Dentalcompare's clinical experts have determined which specifications are important for each product, and all product specs are normalized so they may be compared.
• Include Pricing Information - Dentalcompare added an average price for each product taken from at least three sources.

Last August, Dentalcompare also hired Noah Levine, a long-time editor for the dental industry. Levine has expanded Dentalcompare's editorial content to provide deeper and unique product education including Buyer's Guides, case studies and product reviews.
