Entrust, AirWatch to Showcase Certificate Integration Capabilities at 2013 Mobile World Congress
Collaboration with MDM partner empowers clients to better manage digital identities on mobile devices

DALLAS, Feb. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading identity-based security solutions provider Entrust, Inc. and enterprise mobile management partner AirWatch will exhibit and address attendees at the 2013 Mobile World Congress Feb. 25-28 in Barcelona, Spain.

"Mobile has the power to change identity and offers significant opportunity to today's enterprise," said Entrust President and CEO Bill Conner. "Mobile security should not create barriers. Rather, effective mobile security allows companies to leverage mobile devices to improve productivity and efficiency, while also providing a higher standard of security for both logical, physical and cloud environments."

Entrust began its strategic relationship with AirWatch in February 2012 to advance access for Entrust PKI, Managed Service and Entrust IdentityGuard users who can then leverage AirWatch's Software as a Service (SaaS) appliance-based or on-premise solutions. The integrated solution between AirWatch's Enterprise mobile device management solution and Entrust IdentityGuard Cloud allows AirWatch customers to easily manage digital identities on mobile devices.

This integration also enables organizations to leverage digital certificates for Wi-Fi and VPN authentication via AirWatch's simple device enrollment process. Hundreds of mobile devices — including Apple iOS, Google Android, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile — are authenticated via Entrust's shared certification authority (CA).

Mark Reeves, Entrust's senior vice president of international sales, will take part in a panel discussion on Feb. 25, which will focus on mobile security in the enterprise. In this discussion, Reeves will address the top security challenges companies face as they develop mobility strategies and expand their mobile footprint.

At Mobile World Congress 2013, CEOs of the world's most influential companies, along with more than 1,500 of the industry's leading suppliers of mobile devices, services and technologies, will share their visions of the mobile landscape. Last year's conference was its biggest with more than 67,000 attendees and nearly 1,500 exhibitors from 205 countries.
