Web on the GoSM: The New Alternative for No Contract Mobile Internet Service

The telecom veterans behind Sage Telecom, Inc. and Telscape Communications, Inc. today announced the launch of a low-cost, nationwide, no contract mobile internet service, Web on the Go.

At just $4.59 a month and 3.5¢ per megabyte, Web on the Go is a low-cost solution for personal or business users who aren’t interested in overpaying for unlimited data or being locked into an expensive bundled plan. With average use of only $16 a month, Web on the Go users can enjoy their favorite online activities like sending emails, posting on Facebook, browsing websites, and more.

The wireless internet service is truly no commitment, with no activation or termination fees, and the pay-as-you-go data plan means customers won’t be subjected to sluggish, throttled speeds at pre-determined data caps or pay overage fees.

Web on the Go mobile internet service is available nationwide on a network that serves over 260 million customers.

Users can choose between a USB device for mobile internet connection or a WiFi mobile hotspot that connects up to 5 devices, including iPads, tablets, laptops, notebook computers, e-readers, and other mobile devices. For a limited time, the mobile hotspot is on sale for only $59.

Either device can be ordered and activated at www.webonthego.com, and the site’s online account management feature allows users to review their data usage and choose from flexible payment options.

“Mobile internet service is no longer a luxury,” said Lisa Woodard, CMO at Sage and Telscape. “At $5 for access, and pay-as-you-go usage, Web on the Go is affordable for everyone from the business traveler to the mom-on-the-go to the road-tripping retiree.”

Web on the Go is powered by Sage Telecom, Inc., a Dallas-based telecommunications company. For more information, please visit www.webonthego.com.
