American Megatrends Announces the Total Acquisition of Spectrum North Carolina, LLC

ATLANTA, GA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 09/27/06 -- American Megatrends, Inc. a leading provider of storage solutions and firmware BIOS, today announced that it has acquired 100% ownership of Spectrum NC, LLC and subsequently changed their corporate name to Geofiny Technologies, LLC to better reflect future business services.

The name Geofiny comes from Geo which covers Geomatics and all aspects of the mapping services and finy which means infinite service possibilities in Geomatics area.

Geofiny which has been in existence in Wilmington for the last 16 years will continue to provide quality services in the areas of Photogrammetry, Digital Orthophoto Services, Cadastral and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Future services will include Right of Way Inventory mapping, Data Storage, Oblique Imaging and Satellite Imagery.

"The timing was right for AMI to move from part ownership of Spectrum NC to full acquisition of the company," said S. Shankar, President of American Megatrends. "Geofiny will give AMI a new range of services and products and give us access to a new customer group."
