Message Systems Presents: The Total Economic Impact of the Message Systems Momentum Platform
New Study Details the Return on Investment (ROI) -- Including Higher Revenue and Lowers Costs -- Delivered by Message Systems' Flagship Offering

COLUMBIA, MD -- (Marketwired) -- 09/23/13 -- Message Systems, the global leader in digital messaging software, today announced that Bob Cormier, vice president and principal consultant at Forrester Consulting, will join Steve Dille, senior vice president of marketing at Message Systems, as a guest speaker for a webinar on September 26. The two will unveil the findings of a new commissioned study conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of Message Systems: The Total Economic Impact of the Message Systems Momentum Platform.

The product of a research team led by Forrester's Cormier documents in extensive detail the value provided by the Momentum solution to a composite Organization based on interviews with five Message Systems customers. The top-level findings of the study indicate that a composite Organization representing a typical Message Systems customer, characterized as a "$200 million (revenue) online service provider," can expect a risk-adjusted ROI over a three-year period of "a very favorable 115 percent" with total benefits over the same period of more than $1 million. These figures are based on research and interviews with actual Message Systems customers who have, collectively, used the Momentum platform for nearly two decades.

"Forrester's Total Economic Impact studies are highly regarded across the community of business decision-makers tasked with judging IT solutions and making infrastructure purchasing judgment calls," said Dille. "I look forward to hosting the webinar featuring Bob Cormier next week where we will be releasing the full study and its detailed findings on Momentum in areas including incremental revenue increases, hardware avoidance savings, labor savings and other value points."

Addressing the risks and benefits of investing in the Message Systems Momentum platform, the study concludes, "As the data in the study indicates, the Message Systems Momentum platform has the potential to provide very good ROI. In addition, the favorable risk-adjusted ROI of 115 percent, along with a ten-month payback period (breakeven point) raises confidence that the investment is likely to succeed."
