Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.

Red Hat Aims for Blue Chip Status; Deserts NASDAQ for the NYSE
Move should "reduce trading volatility and offer more efficient pricing," says CFO

"We believe that listing on the New York Stock Exchange will increase Red Hat’s visibility among investors, reduce trading volatility and offer more efficient pricing," said Charlie Peters, CFO of Red Hat, Inc. as the company announced that it has it filed an application to list its common stock on the New York Stock Exchange.

Presently listed on the Nasdaq as "RHAT," Peters said that Red Hat expects to start trading on the NYSE on Dec. 12 under the ticker symbol "RHT."
Currently trading at $16.89, Red Hat has a share cap of over $3BN. The company was founded 13 years ago, in 1993.

Reader Feedback: Page 1 of 1

Uh-oh we should all have known that the beginning of the end had come when Tim Yeaton, Senior Vice President of Enterprise Solutions for Red Hat, started to mouth empty nothings in public. Listen:

"We continue to drive down costs by optimizing performance, manageability and availability. Other customer-driven innovations, such as security, are inherent to our development model."

Yadayadayada.

Wasn't RHAT about to be delisted from the NASDAQ with respect to option granting and hasnt done so yet, threatening instead to be delisted?

Doesn;t this buy option restatement time?

WFT??! Is RH running with its tail between its legs to the NYSE so that stock price manipulations can be done, and officers can sell their shares?
