Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.

FHM Readers Crown Diana Chiafair Miss FHM 2006
Ft. Lauderdale, FL Beauty Declared Hottest Girl Next Door

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 12/01/06 -- Sixty-four beautiful women. Four million votes. And the winner of the Miss FHM 2006 Tournament of Beauties is: Diana Chiafair, a 21-year-old Fort Lauderdale, FL pharmaceutical rep.

Chiafair has emerged the winner and is now "the hottest girl next door" according to FHM's readers. The voting began in July when the Miss FHM Tournament of Beauties invitational, sponsored by Jeep, started with a tournament-style grid of 64 beautiful girls -- 16 girls from each of four regions in the United States (and including contestants from Canada). Miss FHM 2006 contestants were featured on FHMUS.com and in a 16-page supplement in the magazine's August 2006 issue. The Miss FHM 2006 final four contestants were announced in late September and featured in the magazine's November 2006 issue. Chiafair, who represented the South, competed for the Miss FHM crown against West finalist Holly Weber of Newport Beach, CA; Central finalist Sunshine Tutt of Brownsville, TX; and North finalist Michelle Ryann of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

As Miss FHM 2006, Chiafair will make appearances at FHM events and parties and be featured in the magazine throughout 2007. Her first photographs as Miss FHM 2006 are showcased in the magazine's January/February 2007 issue. In addition to the 5-page portfolio shot by Perry Hagopian, the issue also includes a 3-page keepsake pullout poster of Chiafair.

Chiafair has worked as a model and is currently a sales representative for a pharmaceutical company while studying for her marketing degree. Chiafair currently lives at home with her parents. She has been featured in the news in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area for an event she organized for Locks of Love, an organization that collects donated hair and turns it into wigs for cancer patients.

FHM honored Chiafair in New York City with a party at Hawaiian Tropic Zone sponsored by Jeep, Champs Sports, Old Spice Signature and Wahl. Chiafair, a gorgeous brunette, first appeared in FHM in May 2006 in the magazine's "Best Friends" feature.

FHM is published by Emap Metro LLC, an Emap plc company. FHM was launched in the U.S. in April 2000 and today boasts a readership of 6 million.
