Just two months to the day after announcing the forthcoming publication of LinuxWorld Magazine, SYS-CON Media will be launching the premier issue at the LinuxWorld Conference & Expo®, being held August 4 - 7, 2003, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
SYS-CON Media and LinuxWorld Magazine will be at Booth #1190, and SYS-CON Radio will also be in attendance, broadcasting live from the show floor at the Moscone Center, San Francisco. LinuxWorld Magazine Editor-in-Chief Kevin Bedell and Senior Editor James Turner will both be there, talking with CEOs, CIOs, and leading Linux luminaries about the Path to Linux in an enterprise context.
LinuxWorld Magazine, spearheaded by Editor-in-Chief Kevin Bedell and Deputy Editor Alan Williamson, is aimed specifically at CIOs and IT managers seeking guidance and insight on the implications of Linux adoption in the enterprise. LWM will show them why and how Linux and open source can benefit their organizations, and will help bring Linux "from the back room to the boardroom," as Bedell puts it. The Premier Issue is full to bursting with articles, interviews, and features - and free open source software via a free DVD with a fully featured distro of the popular Mandrake Linux operating system.
