The guiding principles for SOA are increasingly being used for mission-critical applications. Many of these applications have significant performance and scalability requirements. Other non-functional requirements such as reliability can not be compromised. This session presents SOA design guidelines that are specifically targeted at high performance systems and describes the features you should expect from your ESB or WS-BPEL engine. This session will also include case histories from companies that have developed and deployed high performance applications according to SOA principles.
Speaker Bio: James Pasley is Chief Technology Officer at Cape Clear Software. As CTO, Pasley is the lead technologist and is responsible for ensuring that Cape Clear's enterprise service bus (ESB) technology supports the evolving needs of the company's global customer base. Pasley holds a computer science degree from Trinity College, Dublin. science degree from Trinity College, Dublin.
