AT&T COO Randall Stephenson said Cingular Wireless had gotten about a million inquiries about Apple's iPhone

In a speech AT&T COO Randall Stephenson said Tuesday that the company's Cingular Wireless unit had gotten about a million inquiries about Apple's still unavailable $500-$600 iPhone since Steve Jobs showed off the device in January. Cingular has dibs on selling the multimedia/Internet-enabled gadget. iPhone is supposed to be out in June. Cingular is not taking pre-orders. Jobs has said he thought Apple could sell 10 million iPhones in 18 months.
