eCopy(TM) Paper Connection Forum Connects MFP Dealers to Document Imaging Profits
eCopy Forum Provides MFP Dealers With Document Imaging Technology and Solution Selling Insights

NASHUA, NH -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/11/07 -- The third annual eCopy Paper Connection Forum will bring together office equipment dealers, multifunction peripheral (MFP) manufacturers, software vendors, and industry experts to collaborate on document imaging strategies for integrating paper-based information with business applications or other electronic workflows. The Forum will focus on how MFP manufacturers' representatives can leverage document imaging software as part of their solution selling strategies to create new revenue streams and deliver better margins.

The event, which attracts attendees from around the world, takes place May 14 to 17, 2007 at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami, Fla. The forum is organized by eCopy, Inc., market leader in document imaging software for MFPs, and Canon and EMC Software are the platinum sponsors. It also includes an exhibit center where attendees can see the leading MFPs from Canon, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Sharp, and Toshiba, working with the latest document technologies from a variety of leading independent software vendors.

"The forum is an excellent event for all our partners who are looking to learn more about building and selling office solutions that will leverage document imaging technologies," said Adam Gillbe, solutions marketing manager at Canon Europe. "It provides an excellent opportunity to meet with the industry's top experts and hear strategies on how to grow their businesses."

According to Rob Tarkoff, Senior Vice President of Global Alliances at EMC Corporation, "Document capture software has become essential as companies electronically collect, digitize, categorize, and store growing volumes of information. We are pleased to support eCopy's Paper Connection Forum for its role in advancing the market vision for distributed document imaging where any office worker can easily convert paper documents into secure digital information."

The eCopy Paper Connection Forum offers dealers insightful business and technical sessions to help them transition from competing largely on the price of MFPs to providing differentiated solutions. The sessions are led by industry experts and offer essential information about topics such as the top trends in scanning, understanding the IT buyer, and professional services.

"The MFP dealer business is rapidly changing and companies need to provide unique solution, service, and support offerings to be successful," said Edward Schmid, eCopy president and CEO. "The eCopy Paper Connection Forum brings together all the members of the MFP document imaging ecosystem so that they can exchange best practices information on how dealers can offer unique solutions that integrate paper documents with business applications to automate workflows."

The Forum includes a keynote presentation by Jason Jennings, a noted author and top authority on business leadership and productivity. Jennings has spent the last 20 years founding, leading, or providing strategic consulting for successful businesses; teaching them how to achieve full economic potential. He is the author of best-selling books, "It's Not The Big That Eat The Small - It's The Fast That Eat The Slow" and "Think BIG - Act Small."
