It is continuing to strengthen its Global Channel Program with three new key appointments to its staff
Apr. 23, 2007 06:30 PM
Neoware's concentrated effort on expanding its channel program comes at a critical time for the industry, which is seeing a surge of interest in thin client computing due in part to proliferation of virtualization technology in the enterprise. Standing at the forefront of the evolution of thin client computing, Neoware has the expertise in thin client and virtualization technologies combined with a growing channel program that will together enable it to take advantage of the tremendous growth opportunities in global markets. Neoware's expanded channel program will also better meet customer needs by working closely with partners who provide total solutions, such as virtual desktop initiatives and vertical industries. As Vice President of Channel Business Development, Quinn is responsible for identifying new channel opportunities by building strategic alliances that span territories from North and South America to the Asia-Pacific Region. Quinn will support Neoware's revenue growth strategy by leading a business development team for the channel. He is also charged with securing new partner agreements while facilitating a sales environment that maintains easy and rapid access to all new channel partners. Quinn joined Neoware in 2002 after holding a series of executive and management roles at IBM. Greg Cicio, who joins Neoware as Director of Channel Business Development, brings more than 20 years of experience in high tech industries specializing in enterprise applications and implementation methods. At Neoware, Cicio will lead the channel partner acquisition program and assist Quinn in ongoing business development. Prior to joining Neoware, Cicio managed strategic channel partner relationships with marquis companies in vertical markets including telecom, healthcare, financial IT systems, and retail. Cicio has held various executive management positions with companies such as Astea International, Sys-Tech Solutions, Honeywell, ABB, Gensym and Base Ten Systems. In her new role as Director of Channel Marketing, Escobar is responsible for the development of programs, campaigns and sales tools which will serve as a key role in the drive and success of the channel program. Escobar brings extensive experience in high-performance sales development. In her eight years at Microsoft, serving as Channel Marketing Manager, she was responsible for building marketing campaigns designed to help tier-two PC manufacturers successfully expand their businesses. Most recently, Escobar worked for Dell as a Services Account Executive where she developed sales and marketing strategies while managing partnerships that targeted the K-12 business in the Western Region. "With our superior technological expertise, deep understanding of the evolution of thin client computing and rapidly growing channel program, Neoware is the only company in the space truly poised to capitalize on the extensive market opportunities," said Klaus Besier, president and CEO of Neoware. "Dedicating these additional resources to the channel will help us to attract new partners, expand into growing markets and capture valuable market share." Reader Feedback: Page 1 of 1
