Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.

Adsystech Adopts i-Flow as the Business Process Management Solution for eInteractive
Adsystech Adopts i-Flow as the Business Process Management Solution for eInteractive

(San Jose, CA) - Fujitsu Software Corporation and Adsystech, Inc., based in Washington, D.C., announced that Adsystech will integrate Fujitsu's i-Flow business process management solution as a key component of eInteractive. eInteractive is a platform-independent enterprise technology portal solution. The combined products provide a complete solution for managing and linking end-to-end enterprise operations.

i-Flow was selected over seven competing products. i-Flow's flexible architecture and ease of integration enable Adsystech to create solutions, including enterprise connectivity and automated e-business solutions, in a process-driven environment. eInteractive with Fujitsu's i-Flow also improves collaboration, high volume business transaction processing, and systems integration, enabling enterprises to quickly add new products and services and "Speak-As-One" to customers and vendors.

"With i-Flow, we can create a solution for automating e-business functions for corporate entities and government agencies in a matter of weeks rather than the months required in some cases, helping us to cut our costs as much as 50 percent," said Gerald Walton, chief technology officer for Adsystech.

Walton explained eInteractive's "Speak-As-One" functionality to JDJ-IN: "eInteractive keeps everyone within an organization "on the same page" so to speak, at all times. Thus they can communicate throughout the corporation or to customers and vendors in the same voice, saying the same thing, referring to the same information. We do this by providing an environment where information for each business activity is updated instantly, constantly, and can be accessed, packaged or disseminated from end-to-end throughout the organization."

"No matter how large or far flung-a company can streamline and integrate its operations and business processes, such that everyone within that organization can track, monitor, and manage relevant business processes in real time, anytime. eInteractive eliminates information gaps, lag times, errors and redundancies. And because it keeps everyone informed, up-to-date, and empowered to impact the process, as appropriate, the end result is that throughout the company everyone from sales to shipping from customer service to CEO Speaks as One."

Using i-Flow with eInteractive, Adsystech can also easily fulfill the various security requirements of its customers, a feature that is especially important to its large base of government customers.

i-Flow is the first Java-based and the only 100% browser-based business process management solution, allowing for seamless integration with Web-based systems. i-Flow is highly customizable and can be tailored to meet customers' unique requirements. Its intuitive graphical user interface enables customers to easily build workflow applications according to their specific needs. Customers reduce operating expenses, improve productivity, efficiency and time-to-market.
