(November 26, 2002) - The new version of IntelliJ IDEA 3.0, the popular Java IDE, has been released by JetBrains, Inc. Having become truly extensible by opening its APIs, IntelliJ IDEA 3.0 is being promoted as the most complete productivity package in the Java development market to date. IntelliJ IDEA 3.0 comes with industry setting refactoring support, super intelligent code editing assistance, a wide range of J2EE development features for rapid Web application and other enterprise development, a powerful Code Inspection tool, and other productivity features. The list price of IntelliJ IDEA 3.0 is $499 per developer. Developers may also download a free 30-day evaluation copy from www.intellij.com/idea/download.jsp.
