BEA Highlights Innovations, Strategic Partners, and Engineering Experts at JavaOne

(June 5, 2003) - At the eighth annual JavaOne Worldwide Developer Conference in San Francisco next week, JavaOne sponsor BEA plans to prove how J2EE can be made easier for all developers by showcasing advances in Java development, business integration, and Web services. In addition, BEA is scheduled to lead and speak at technical, business, and special interest sessions and panels during the four-day event.

In BEA's booth #133, attendees will see how easy it is to build industrial-strength enterprise applications and Web services on the BEA WebLogic Enterprise Platform. Attendees will also learn about tools and technologies for simplifying Java development and application integration. BEA product and technology experts, as well as BEA customers and partners will demonstrate BEA WebLogic Workshop. BEA technology experts are scheduled to speak at 14 technical sessions and panel discussions on a variety of topics involving the Java community.

BEA dev2dev is hosting JavaOne activities, including a BEA dev2dev Leadership Luncheon - Wednesday, June 11, noon PDT for User Group leaders and BEA dev2dev evangelists, a "Meet the Engineers" Q&A Session, and more.

BEA will participate in the Java Pro Technology Roundtable where Java industry leaders will convene to examine the current state of the Java community and set directions for the year ahead. This year's Roundtable will meet on June 9, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. PDT at the W Hotel in San Francisco. BEA will also be a prominent participant on a panel entitled, "Choosing a Compatible Application Server," Thursday, June 12, 12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. PDT in Esplanade 301, Moscone Center.
