Augyva Announces the Beginning of its 2007 Exploration Campaign on Gold Showings at Yasinski
Augyva Announces the Beginning of its 2007 Exploration Campaign on Gold Showings at Yasinski

LA MACAZA, QUEBEC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/24/07 -- Augyva Mining Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: AUV) announces the beginning of its 2007 summer exploration campaign on gold showings on the Yasinski property in James Bay. These exploration works succeed to recent lithogeochemical rock sampling which has permitted to identify new gold mineralization hosted by metasedimentary rocks (line 21+60N, 2+00E and line 40+00N, 9+00W) (see Press release 2006-12-21). The aim of this exploration campaign is to explain geophysical anomalies detected with the latest VTEM, MAG and gravity surveys done on the property. Augyva will proceed with detailed mapping of mineralized zones, channel sampling and trenching within the metasedimentary horizons.

On the Kali property (Opinaca - Sheet 33C05), the pedogeochemical study is completed. It shows strong Cu-Mo anomalies and supports the magmatic-porphyric model already proposed for this mineralization (up to 961ppm in Cu, mean of 126ppm in Cu) (see Press release 2007-03-05). North-West and South-East structures which could represent mineralized corridors have also been identified. Stripping will later be done to identify the source of these pedogeochemical Ag, Cu, Mo, Cr, Co, K and Al anomalies.

This press release was prepared by geologist Georges-Yvan Gagnon, who is a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101.

Augyva Mining Resources is a mineral exploration company which is actively exploring favourable metallogenic belts in James Bay and Abitibi, Quebec. Augyva holds 100% interest on its gold and polymetallic properties of Yasinski and Kali, and on the Duncan Lake iron deposit in James Bay, and on its Senneville and Malartic properties in Abitibi.
