Macromedia is forming advisory boards - seeking to bring a jolt of Java to its journey

Macromedia is looking to form advisory groups to better understand the needs of Java developers and inform future product development. Those participating will have direct contact with us and other advisory board members and be provided with free Macromedia software. Developers who are interested in participating are invited to take a look at the information just posted on the Macromedia Web site, or to complete an application here. The company is looking, says spokesman Greg Stern, VP of Macromedia's Developer Center, "both for Java developers that have never used Macromedia products before and those that have, and developers from a wide variety of backgrounds and disciplines." The initiative is intended to provide a chance for the Java community to channel developer insight about how Macromedia can improve its Java offerings. Take a look and decide for yourself if it's for you.Reader Feedback: Page 1 of 1
