CyberSource Corporation, a leading provider of risk management and electronic payment solutions for enterprise businesses, has introduced a new native C# component designed to simplify integration of CyberSource electronic payment processing services into a Web services environment built with Microsoft .NET technologies. Integrating the new component provides enterprise-wide access to CyberSource transaction services, giving businesses the ability to leverage a single application for processing electronic payments originating from multiple sales channels and departments. This model can decrease processing fees and improve IT and financial administration efficiency.

The native C# component gives businesses fast access to CyberSource's leading payment and fraud detection services, as well as geolocation, tax calculation, and export compliance. The CyberSource Payment service works behind the scenes to authorize and settle electronic payments, including credit, debit, and procurement card and electronic check transactions, through built-in connections with third-party processors and merchant banks. The component also provides simplified integration of the CyberSource Advanced Fraud Screen Service enhanced by Visa, which provides payment-card fraud risk prediction scores by performing, in less than two seconds, over 150 order variable cross-checks, such as address validation and order velocity.

The C# component is now available from the CyberSource web site at www.cybersource.com. In addition to the C# component, CyberSource also provides components built with Microsoft C, C++, ASP and ASP.NET as well as a pre-built integration to Microsoft Commerce Server 2002.
