Borland Launches Performance Assurance Solution for .NET

(February 11, 2003) - Borland Software Corporation has launched Optimizeit Profiler for the Microsoft .NET Framework, strengthening the company's support for developers building .NET applications. Optimizeit Profiler provides comprehensive insight into performance issues and accelerating application development for the Microsoft .NET Framework. Borland also has joined the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET Integration Program. Optimizeit Profiler supports all .NET managed code and provides real-time performance profiling that quickly identifies and prioritizes performance issues, highlighting the relevant line of source code for immediate resolution. With Optimizeit Profiler, developers can solve performance issues quickly and focus on creating fast, scalable and reliable applications. Further underscoring an ongoing relationship with Microsoft and a commitment to the Microsoft .NET Framework, Borland announced it will participate in the Visual Studio .NET Integration Program (VSIP), which includes tools, language and component vendors, independent software vendors, academics, and researchers. VSIP is designed to facilitate productivity, flexibility, and tight integration among products. Borland recently announced it was the first to license the Microsoft .NET Framework SDK for distribution.
