(September 10, 2002) -Rogue Wave XML Object Link is Rogue Wave Software, Inc.'s latest release supporting its Web services integration strategy. XML Object Link helps businesses smoothly integrate XML and Web services with their existing applications to extend their mission-critical systems over a network. Rogue Wave XML Object Link quickly and easily generates C++ components that represent XML documents, simplifying the task of writing XML-enabled programs by automatically generating C++ code from XML Schemas. This reduces the tedious and error-prone task of parsing and processing data in C++ that is read from XML documents. XML Object Link enables development teams to focus on building and deploying critical business solutions faster and more robustly by providing the ability to easily handle XML documents that can readily be exchanged with other systems, including those based on Java or Microsoft .NET systems using XML or Web services. Other initiatives in the company's Web integration strategy include Bobcat, a C++ servlet container, and Project Persian, for creating C++ Web services using SOAP and WSDL. An evaluation version of XML Object Link is available through Rogue Wave's sales channel and will soon be available for free download at www.roguewave.com/developer/evaluations/xol/ , along with white papers, example code and other resources related to XML Object Link.
