Two companies partner to dleiver the most advanced real-time Web 2.0 technology for financial systems, gaming, and sports

Kaazing Corporation and Terracotta, Inc. announced a strategic alliance to deliver the software industry’s most scalable and advanced real-time Web 2.0 technology for financial systems, online gaming, online sports and news broadcasting applications. The seamless integration between Kaazing’s real-time Rich Internet Application (RIA) solution, Enterprise Comet, and Terracotta’s Network Attached Memory software enables Kaazing customers to create and deploy scalable mission-critical real-time Web 2.0 solutions, such as trading system clients, online betting applications, performance monitoring, RFID/GPS tracking systems, and sports and news broadcasting applications. Customers can also reduce time-to-market, increase accessibility to their real-time offerings, and improve service levels to their customers. Through the strategic alliance, Terracotta and Kaazing will collaborate on technology development, joint sales, and marketing activities. For example, Kaazing Corporation will demonstrate a real-time Web application running with Terracotta at the AJAXWorld Conference Expo 2007 West, on September 24-26, 2007 in Santa Clara, California.  “Online trading, gaming and media applications are perfect use cases for Kaazing’s capability to deliver stateful rich internet applications, and Terracotta will provide the high availability and scalability customers will demand,” said Ari Zilka, CTO and co-founder of TerracottaWith Terracotta, Kaazing can now offer its customers a highly scalable, advanced real-time Java EE solution capable of powering some of the largest marketplaces in the world.
