Canadian Kids to Use StarOffice

Sun says it's cut a StarOffice 7 deal with the Ontario Ministry of Education covering 2.5 million students. Terms were not disclosed, but even the school system called the cost "minimal." Presumably that means it's getting the software for the cost of the distribution media complements of Sun's education program. All the kids will be licensed to use the software on all school-owned PCs. The arrangement covers both public and parochial schools.
