Apriso Joins IBM SOA Specialty Program
Accreditation Demonstrates and Expands Ease of Use with IBM Applications and Services

Apriso Corporation announced acceptance into the IBM SOA Specialty Program after successfully meeting IBM’s  SOA technical and business requirements.

With this achievement, Apriso’s operations execution system, FlexNet, has been recognized to integrate with IBM’s suite of SOA-enabled applications, providing a unified platform to achieve collaborative manufacturing operations management. With this IT architecture, manufacturers can rapidly integrate real-time global operations intelligence with enterprise applications to be highly adaptive and responsive to changing customer demands, increasingly complex product mixes and highly dynamic supply chain networks.

“SOA is an increasingly important business requirement for organizations because of the business flexibility it enables, and Apriso plays an important role in the SOA ecosystem,” stated Chris Will, co-founder and chief technology officer for Apriso. “Apriso’s commitment to SOA provides our customers with a powerful way to reduce systems integration costs while helping to rapidly deploy operational applications.”

Acceptance into the IBM SOA Specialty program is for business partners who demonstrate compatibility with IBM SOA Foundation products, endorse the IBM SOA strategy and have go-to-market activities that IBM determines to be in agreement with its own. Apriso, an IBM Advanced Partner, has been working closely with IBM for several years to achieve a high level of business and technical alignment, leveraging the SOA Foundation by building reusable business processes, which can then be distributed enterprise wide.
