Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.

Playboy TV Signs Deal With Sky Interactive
Playboy TV Signs Deal With Sky Interactive

MIDDLESEX, United Kingdom, April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Playboy TV UK, a leading provider of high-quality, entertainment programming for adults, and Sky Interactive have concluded an agreement to give digital satellite viewers the option to subscribe to Playboy TV UK's channels by pressing the red button on their remote control. This new service launched on 30 March.

Sky customers can now subscribe to Playboy TV, the Adult Channel, Spice Extreme, Climax3, or a combination of the six channels, simply by pressing the red button. As a result of this deal, registrations for Playboy TV are integrated directly with Sky Interactive's customer database, significantly speeding up the process. When a customer wants to subscribe, their address details are retrieved from Sky Interactive's customer database, so all they need to provide is their name and their payment details.

Commenting on the deal, Jeremy Yates, Managing Director, Playboy TV UK said: "We are very excited to be working with Sky Interactive to make our customers' lives easier. This development allows viewers to sign up to our services in a discrete way with the minimum of fuss. We see this development as a key driver of business growth in the coming months."
