The Oce Printshop in a Box program includes a guide with business tips and application support, Onyx PosterShop(R) Quick Set CD, media starter kit, customer training, and telephone support for the Oce CS6060 large format color inkjet printer. The Oce CS6060 printer is being demonstrated in Oce booth #5260 at the International Sign Expo in Las Vegas, March 31-April 2, 2005.

Oce Printshop in a Box makes it easier for Oce CS6060 printer customers to immediately begin producing high quality prints and get their shops up and running faster. The program includes the following components:

Oce CS6060 Business and Application Guide. This guide includes instructions, tips and techniques for creating indoor and outdoor prints with the Oce CS6060 printer. A section on how to market Oce CS6060 prints is included. This guide provides shops with business know-how to quickly start up right "out of the box." It can also be used as a training tool for new employees.

Onyx PosterShop 6.0 Software Oce Edition Quick Set CD for the Oce CS6060. Quick Sets save time, streamline workflow, and significantly reduce job re-runs resulting from incorrect media, dot patterns, or input/output profiles. It is a set of parameters, unique to the Oce CS6060 printer, for any given RIP job, stored in Onyx PosterShop, and automatically applied to specified inbound jobs. The Quick Set CD included in the Oce Printshop in a Box program includes pre-defined Quick Sets for select media and application types.

Oce Media Starter Kit from Avery(R) Graphics. Four Avery media selections are available as part of this program including cast and calendared vinyl and two weights of scrim banner vinyl. These media have been selected as a good base for a wide variety of applications. Each is matched with a Quick Set in Onyx PosterShop software, enabling quick and easy set-up and worry-free production.

Oce CS6060 Applications Workshop Presented by Graphic Intelligence Agency (GIA). Admission to a comprehensive two-day training workshop, conducted at a GIA facility, is included. The workshop covers all aspects of running a print-for-pay business with the Oce CS6060 printer. Customers will create applications and experience hands-on use of the printer under the guidance of the internationally renowned digital printing expertise of the GIA.

Oce Application Telephone Support Contract from GIA. Dedicated GIA support personnel, trained specifically on the Oce CS6060 printer and the applications covered in the Oce CS6060 Application Guide, are available to answer questions on the printer, Onyx PosterShop software, and select applications.

The Oce CS6060 is a 64-inch wide printer that offers true 720 x 720 dpi resolution at print speeds of up to 176 ft2 per hour in four-pass mode. In two-pass mode, print speeds of up to 330 ft2 can be achieved with a resolution of 720 x 360 dpi. The Oce CS6060 printer is designed for short-run print jobs in light production environments where both high quality output and outdoor durability are required.
