InfoSpace Promotes Michael Glover to Vice President, Business Development

InfoSpace, Inc. (NASDAQ:INSP) today announced that Michael Glover has been promoted to vice president, business development. In this role, Glover is responsible for all aspects of InfoSpace’s strategic partner strategy. Glover will report directly to Jim Voelker, chairman, president and chief executive officer of InfoSpace.

“Since joining InfoSpace in 2000, Mike has been a tremendous asset to our organization. He has played a critical role in securing our unique and long term agreements with both Google and Yahoo! into 2011,” said Voelker. “As he takes the new position, he will continue to ensure our strong relationships with current partners as well as develop new opportunities to grow the business.”

Glover brings more than 14 years of business development, sales and marketing experience to InfoSpace. He joined the firm in 2000 as a business development manager before being promoted to director in 2004 and senior director in 2006. Prior to InfoSpace, he was director of marketing at Uniglobe.com, an online travel agency. Glover began his career at Sterling Management as a product manager. Mr. Glover received his bachelor of science degree in business administration from Oregon State University.
