Reiser Murder Case Goes to the Jury
The fate of Hans Reiser, the Linux file system programmer charged with murdering his estranged wife and hiding her undiscovered body in 2006 has gone to the jury after a five-and-a-half month trial. The seven-man, five-woman panel got the case Tuesday afternoon. They have their choice of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, manslaughter, or not guilty. They broke for the weekend Thursday without reaching a verdict.
