DreamFace Interactive Announced the General Availability of the DreamFace-Fx Mashup Kit for Adobe Flex

Following the private Beta release last month, DreamFace Interactive announced the general availability of the DreamFace-Fx Mashup Kit for Adobe Flex. As promised, DreamFace-Fx is the first Mashup Kit to reach developers in a comprehensive roadmap which will extend the DreamFace Open Source Web 2.0 Framework to include complementary technologies. Olivier Poupeney, DreamFace Interactive CEO explains the choice of Adobe Flex for the first Mashup Kit, “There is a need today for RIA technologies in SOA applications, and Flex is getting attraction from the Java community thanks to its smooth integration with J2EE, however, using Flex usually means abandoning AJAX with the risk of being linked to a single technology.
